Knife and gun crime

Thankfully knife and firearm crime is relatively rare in Cambridgeshire. However, this area of the site is designed to provide information and answer questions for anyone interested in the prevention of knife/gun crime.

One of our key tactics in stopping knife/gun is through education and prevention work and there are a number of ways you can get involved to help us tackle this issue:

Legislation:

The maximum penalty for an adult carrying a knife is four years in prison and a fine of 5,000.
