Using the database

You will need access to Microsoft Excel to view crime data.

To make full use of the data provided please ‘enable macros’ when prompted. This will allow you to select and view crime data in different areas across Cambridgeshire. For a full list of wards in Cambridgeshire select the ‘wards’ tab located at the bottom of the excel sheet.

To view crime data at a local level firstly select the district you live in or would like to view data for in the ‘select area’ list, this will update the table and graphs to display all crime and ASB for that area. You can use the second pull down menu to select ward level data.

Crime mapping

Crime data is made available on www.police.uk, a national website which maps incidents reported to the police for the preceding month.
